If there's a silly, ridiculous question to ask in regards to Marvel's Doctor Strange, it's "How is a mystical character like him going to fit in the MCU"? Well, how does a Norse thunder god fit in? Pretty darn well, don't you think? So what's the difference? Nothing, really, but ultimately it's up to the writers, director Scott Derrickson, and star Benedict Cumberbatch to sell us on the concept of the Sorcerer Supreme.
A new trailer debuted at Comic-Con during Marvel's panel, and this one looks less like we're being swallowed into The Matrix than the previous one did. Alongside Cumberbatch the film's cast is remarkable with Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Tilda Swinton the controversial choice to play the Ancient One, Mads Mikkelsen as Kaecililius, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West.
Still, this looks pretty trippy, even for an MCU flick. Doctor Strange opens November 4th.
