It's been a busy year for Idris Elba on the big screen, appearing in or lending his voice to five movies, most recently as the villain of Star Trek Beyond. There's one more movie that you may not have heard about, and it's the Crash-esque ensemble 100 Streets, which he not only stars in but produces.
Also featuring Gemma Arterton, Franz Drameh, Ken Stott, Tom Cullen, Charlie Creed-Miles, and Kierston Wareing, the film tell three intertwining stories of lost and passionless Londoners. The focus of the new trailer is on Elba as Max Moore, a former rugby pro trying to make things right with his wife (Arterton) after leaving the game.
Directed by Jim O'Hanlon, 100 Streets opens January 13th 2017 in theaters and VOD.
