'Murder On The Orient Express' Trailer: An A-List Killer Is On The Loose

What happens when you cram a dozen movie stars on the same train? Obviously someone is going to get killed. And then somebody will need to be sent in to solve the crime.  Enter Kenneth Branagh and his remake of Agatha Christie's Murder On the Orient Express, which has just debuted a new trailer.

Branagh pulls double duty as director, while also starring as Christie's favorite detective, Hercule Poirot. Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom Jr., and Olivia Colman play the murder suspects, who have all been given easily identifiable titles, like "The Butler", "The Countess", "The Governess", etc. Of course the butler did it, in the sleeping quarters with the candlestick. In the beginning Angelina Jolie was set to be the centerpiece figure but she dropped out, and Branagh hasn't looked back. The cast he's assembled should make it easier to swallow another remake of a classic property.

Murder On the Orient Express opens November 10th.
