Personally I'm not really looking forward to this film if it's going to be a passing of the torch to a younger crew. Whatever the case, it looks like the third installment of Ghostbusters is gearing up to possibly green light the commisoned script and shoot late this year. Dan Aykroyd: Script is commenced early summer. Hope to be in production by late fall 2009
So really, this means nothing...there's ALOT that still has to fall into place. Still it's good to know that this project isn't dead in the water and that Dan Akroyd is still involved and excited about the flick.
