Steve Holt!! Arrested Development Script in the Works
Ever since Arrested Development went off the air in 2006, rumors have been flying about the prospect of a big screen romp featuring the ultra spoiled and mostly delusional Bluth clan. The final episode of the series featured Ron Howard, who also exec produced and narrated the show, being pitched an idea for a film on the Bluth clan, which helped kick off the rumors. Ever since then, creator Mitchell Hurwitz has been steadfast in not starting the script until everyone was aboard. For awhile it seemed like Michael Cera was the last remaining holdout, but apparently all systems are go!
Despite Ron Howard being involved in the project, series creator Mitchell Hurwitz will both co-write and direct. Considerigng the large cast and the fact that most of the show's stars are now experiencing career boosts, rounding everyone up for scheduling might prove difficult. All I care about is whether or not Carl Weathers will be returning to sop up more biscuits.
