, has been offically moved onto his next project, the sci-fi action flick All You Need is Kill. Based on the Japanese short story by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, it involves a soldier who finds himself caught in a Groundhog Day
-type time loop, reliving the same battle over and over again. Through his multiple experiences, he grows from a lackluster combatant into a hardened soldier, attempting to change his fatal destiny. Dante Harper adapted the script, but so far there's no word on any casting. The only question this raises is whether or not this spells the end for Warner Brothers' planned Three Musketeers film, which Liman was also supposed to direct. They took him off that project specifically to tackle this one. Maybe they were feeling the heat from Paul W.S. Anderson's version and decided to give it a rest.
