DVD Pick of the Week: Predators
If you're like me you've been waiting 23 years for a proper sequel to Predator. Nothing against Danny Glover, but Predator 2? Not so much. The Alien vs. Predator movies never felt up to par and never captured just how awesome the predators really are. Robert Rodriguez knows what we wanted, and alongside director Nimrod Antal, finally gave us what we've been begging for. Predators is a true homage to the 1987 classic in every way, all the while re-establishing the franchise for itself with a brand new hero(Adrien Brody) a whole new world(an entire hunting planet), and new never before asked questions about the predators themselves.
