last week we learned that Mr. and Mrs. Fresh Prince were in talks with Sony Pictures to develop a remake of
Annie, the hit musical based on the
Little Orphan Annie comic strip. Well now Sony has confirmed the partnership, which features not only Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, but also Jay-Z in a joint venture to create feature flicks.
Variety has the story and states that Will Smith's daughter, Willow, is "in talks" for the lead role as previously reported. What does that mean? If she says no will daddy ground her? What he should do is bar her from any unfortunate hairstyles for a month or two.
