Trailer Time: X-men: First Class, starring James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender

Ahhh the Golden Age of comics, when the X-men were free to get their feathery hands and furry blue feet dirty in the midst of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Matthew Vaughn's prequel, X-men: First Class, thrusts the mutants deep into this turbulent time in our country's history, presenting the origins of Professor Xavier's and Magneto's epic feud.  While some of the marketing for the film has been spotty, the teaser trailer released a few weeks ago was ridiculously tight, putting to rest all the horror stories we were hearing about the rushed production schedule and crappy special effects. Now we've got the first full, theatrical trailer and it's even better, in my opinion.

We've seen a lot of what's here before, but I think this trailer increases the scope of the film, makes it seem more important.  I've said it before and I'll say it again that I think X-men: First Class will kick both Thor and Captain America's asses this year. Bank on it.  Check out the trailer for yourself and as always let us know what you think.

X-men: First Class opens in theaters on June 3rd!
