If I told you there was a new thriller out about a person who has a form of memory loss that prevents them from recognizing familiar faces, you'd probably scream "Memento
Starring Milla Jojovich, Faces in the Crowd sees her as a woman who witnesses a serial killer's attack, but is discovered when her cell phone goes off. Isn't the dreaded cell phone ring becoming like the new sneezing when trying to be stealthy? The killer catches her, promptly dumps her over a bridge, and she wakes up with prosopagnosia, otherwise known as "face blindness". I swear it's real, and has nothing to do with the shine reflecting off a person's sweaty mug. Basically the trailer consists of Jojovich getting spooked by everybody she meets, including slugging the crapola out of her hubby(Julian McMahon). I actually think Jojovich is a damn fine actress when she wants to be, but junk like this does her no favors. Julian McMahon, Marianne Faithfull(!!!???), and the sexy Sandrine Holt co-star. Julien Magnat directed, marking his first film since 2002's low budget actioner, Bloody Mallory
