Trailer Time: Act of Valor

Is Act of Valor a legit action movie? Or just a two hour commercial to drive up military recruitment? The trailers we've seen so far lean a little more to the latter, but with the latest one released just a couple of days ago, I'm starting to think it's far more than that. What worried me most was the involvement of actual, active duty Navy Seal personnel as the stars, which could be a double edged sword. Sure it adds a level of authenticity no other war film can match, but asking them to...y'know...act, may be too much. Fortunately it appears that the script by Kurt Johnstad(300) is going to be light on dialogue and heavy on blowing shit up. To help ease the burden, a couple of seasoned vets like Rosalyn Sanchez(The Game Plan) and Alex Veadov star.

Directed by Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh, the combines real military hardware and tactics into a fictionalized account of a mission to rescue a CIA agent held hostage by terrorist forces. Act of Glory hits theaters on February 17th. Check out the latest trailer below...
