Trailer Time: Chimpanzee, from Disneynature


After the films of this past summer, it might come as a shock to you to know that not all chimps grow up to become super intelligent mob bosses like in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Nor do people routinely keep them as domesticated pets, so they can learn sign language and begin taking advantage of their human hosts, like in Project NIM. No, most chimps live out in the wild where they swing from trees and eat bananas, I guess.

DisneyNature is striking again next year with yet another of their popular Earth Day documentaries. This one titled Chimpanzee, focuses on a playful baby chimp named Oscar and the journey of discover he undertakes alongside his equally quirky family. I tend to avoid these movies like the plague, but if you dig 'em then April 20th is the day to mark on your calendar. Check out the new trailer below....
