There's no doubt that with The Dark Knight Rises, Batman is going to face a threat unlike anything he's faced in the previous two films. Bane is a physical force of nature, capable of taking the dark knight two his limit. In the comics, Bane is the one responsible for shattering Batman's spine and all but ending his superhero career for years. Could we be about to see something similar in Christpher Nolan's upcoming flick?
The latest poster seems to indicate that, showing Bane(Tom Hardy) stalking away from Batman's broken cowl. Pretty awesome! The prologue for The Dark Knight Rises will open to a select few on December 13th, and the rest on December 16th ahead of IMAX screenings of Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol. [Batman-News]
