Washington DC native, Taraji P. Henson, has been tapping at the glass window of Hollywood's A-list for a long time. A strange place to be considering the critical acclaim she's achieved in numerous roles on the big screen and television. She first won serious notoriety for showing her acting and singing ability in Hustle & Flow, followed up a few years later for an Oscar nominated turn in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. After a bit of controversy surrounding her role in the CBS hit, Person of Interest, she's finally getting a chance show to her tougher side on the show, and now she'll do it again opposite Idris Elba in No Good Deed.
Henson will join the red hot Elba in the film about a former district attorney turned stay at home mom who along with her two kids, are terrorized and kidnapped by a handsome stranger after she lets him into their home after a car accident. British TV director Sam Miller will be behind the camera, having worked with Elba on his award winning series, Luther. Aimee Lagos(96 Minutes) wrote the screenplay.
Filming is set to begin this April in Atlanta, GA. Henson will be seen next in Think Like A Man, an adaptation of the Steve Harvey novel. Elba can currently be seen in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, and will appear next in Ridley Scott's Prometheus.
