The latest clip from The Hunger Games is a taste of a crucial scene in the novel and presumably the film as well. In it, Katniss Everdeen(Jennifer Lawrence) flaunts her skills with a bow and arrow to a room full of Gamemakers, the ones who decide every facet of the deadly competition. At this point in the story, Katniss and her partner, Peeta Mellark(Josh Hutcherson) are the underdogs since they hail from the poorest district in the nation. Sick of being ignored by the people who will ultimately decide her fate, Katniss shows a glimpse of the rallying figure she'll become by lashing out at those in power.
Earlier today, author Suzanne Collins took to Facebook to express how happy she was with the film version of her wildly popular trilogy.
