Even though The Muppets has been out of theaters for months now, the parody trailers haven't gone anywhere. Marking the March 20th release of the film on DVD and Blu-Ray, a new trailer has been unveiled with Kermit and the gang doing a parody of the hotly anticipated The Hunger Games, which opens just three days later. Previous films spoofed by The Muppets include The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Hangover, and Twilight.
The Muppets stars Jason Segel, Amy Adams, and a host of other celebrity guests in a story that has Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the newest muppet, Walter, getting the old crew back together for a massive telethon in hopes of saving Muppet Theater from a greedy oil tycoon. Check out the trailer below...
