Warner Brothers denies Stallone is editing 'Bullet to the Head'

Just a few days ago it was reported that Bullet to the Head, the upcoming action film from Sylvester Stallone and Walter Hill, had been pulled from the release schedule. The reason we learned yesterday was that Stallone was taking on editing the final cut, which was the reason for the delays. Not really a big deal, and it was revealed that a November release date was a possibility.

IGN got an exclusive statement from Warner Brothers, who say that reports of Stallone's involvement in the editing room are a bunch of poo poo ca-ca. Ok, they said it with bit more intelligence than I just did...

"Contrary to recent inaccurate and unfounded reports that Sylvester Stallone had taken over the editing of BULLET TO THE HEAD, director Walter Hill continues his editing of the movie. Walter Hill said today, 'I'm currently finishing up and locking reels on the movie -- as to the content and style of the film, Sly and I are in perfect sync. I'm delighted with the way the film is turning out and hopefully so will the audience.'

It sounds like the film's release is back at TBD, but we'll probably hear something on that soon. Bullet to the Head stars Stallone and Sung Kang(Fast Five) as a hitman and cop who team-up to take on the guy who killed their partners.
