Trailer Time: 'Bad Ass', starring Danny Trejo and Ron Perlman
For those of you who may be new around here(and there are lots apparently, so thanks!!), we love Danny Trejo. He's sorta like the unofficial third member of the crew, having given us our first real scoop a few years ago about his involvement in Predators, and being open to talking to us whenever. He's a good dude, and anytime he's got a film coming up we're gonna support it. That doesn't mean we'll schill for it or anything, but we want as many people to know what he's up to as possible.
While we eagerly await more word on the previously announced Machete sequel, Trejo has another film right around the corner. Titled Bad Ass, he stars as Vietnam vet who feels shunned and rejected by the country he fought for. When he gets into a fight with a pair of skinheads on a commuter bus, he finds himself thrust into the spotlight as a local hero, and starts taking on crime in his own way. Charles Dutton and Ron Perlman co-star, with Craig Moss as director. The story appears inspired by the Epic Beard Man, who became an internet phenomenon in 2010 after a racially charged altercation.
Bad Ass opens for a limited run on April 13th. Check out the new, rather brief trailer below....
