Trailer Time: 'Hotel Transylvania', featuring Adam Sandler and Selena Gomez

Ugh, talk about animation extremes. We just put up the surprisingly gorgeous new trailer for Rise of the Guardians, and now we have the new one for Hotel Transylvania. It's not nearly as impressive. As in it's not impressive at all. Apparently Adam Sandler isn't funny whether he's alive, undead, a twin, or animated.

Directed by TV vet Genndy Tartakovsky(Dexter's Laboratory), the film features Sandler as Dracula who runs a hotel for monsters along with his daughter, voiced by Selena Gomez. With his daughter's 118th birthday approaching, Dracula invites some of the world's most famous creatures to stay and help celebrate, only to have the entire shindig ruined by the arrival of an ordinary human. My question is why don't they just feed him to the Creature from the Black Lagoon and be done with it? These are monsters, right? Perhaps I'm thinking too deeply about this.

Kevin James, Andy Samberg, Fran Drescher, Cee-Lo Green, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, and Molly Shannon co-star. It opens on September 21st, where hopefully it will get trounced by Dredd and Killing Them Softly(formerly Cogan's Trade). Check out the trailer below...
