Nearly matching the overwhelmingly enthusiastic festival response as The Raid, Sleepless Night is another high octane foreign film that Hollywood has quickly snatched up for the eventual remake. Fortunately for us, we'll get a chance to see the original here staring on May 11th, courtesy of Tribeca Films. Directed by Frederic Jardin, Sleepless Night is an intense action flick following one crazy evening in the life of Vincent, a cop who gets in too deep with a vicious drug lord and can't find his way out. When his son is kidnapped and held hostage, Vincent finds himself chased relentlessly by Internal Affairs and the criminals who want what they're owed.
