Seth Gordon is quickly becoming one of my favorite directors, and will forever have a place in this gamer's heart for his great documentary, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters. Last year he directed Horrible Bosses, one of a slew of R-rated hits, and will next take on Identity Theft starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy. Variety now reports that Gordon will then direct the comedy, The Has-Beens.
As of right now details are scarce, but we do know that the script comes from Max Werner, writer on The Colbert Report. Werner also has the Halloween themed comedy, Fun Size, due out later this year.
There doesn't seem to be any reason to keep the plot secret, so expect to hear more on this soon as it develops.
