The ball is in your court, Sony! With the release of last night's The Dark Knight Rises trailer, it's now up to Marc Webb and The Amazing Spider-Man to keep up and floor us with a trailer as well. We won't have to wait long, as the new one should debut this coming Thursday. So far I've been more impressed by the international footage, which has done a better job of melding the sometimes awkward mix of humor and darkness that has become the Spidey trademark for 40 years.
To help tide us over, a couple of new photos have been released. One features Peter Parker(Andrew Garfield) clearly in the office of scientist Curt Connors(Rhys Ifans), aka The Lizard. The other with a bound up Spidey surrounded by a bunch of armed officers who are about three seconds away from getting their butts handed to them.
