Trailer Time: 'Take This Waltz', starring Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen

"A kind of idiotic, marvelous ridiculous longing". Michelle Williams is no stranger to movies dealing with the pressures of marriage, and she's set to do it again in Sarah Polley's latest feature, Take This Waltz. We've seen a trailer and a handful of clips already, and each has been better than the last. This one goes even deeper into the moral dilemma faced by Williams' character, a woman struggling to remain faithful to her husband of five years.

Unlike Polley's directorial debut, Away From Her, there's a levity to this film that should make it a bit easier to find a mainstream. It also helps to have Williams starring opposite Seth Rogen, with the two playing Margot and Lou, who have been happily married until she meets Daniel(Luke Kirby) and feels an instant connection with him. When she discovers that Daniels lives right across the street, Margot is forced to learn some harsh truths about her marriage and also about herself. Sarah Silverman co-stars as Margot's best friend, Geraldine.

With the film set to open in theaters on June 29th, a new trailer has been released that may be the best one yet. The first half, done in heartbreaking voice over by Williams, shows the burden weighing on Margot's conscience. The second half looks like an entirely different movie, full of light comic touches. The film is available on VOD right now, so expect to get a Snap Judgements review soon....
