This year will see the release of two long delayed genre projects starring Chris Hemsworth. The first was the awesome and under appreciated Cabin in the Woods, and in a few months we'll get that remake of Red Dawn nobody wanted, starring a virtual who's who of stars who have since gone on to bigger and better things.

A remake of the 1984 "Oh shit America's under attack!" cult fave, this Red Dawn stars Hemsworth, Connor Cruise(Tom's son), Isabel Lucas, Josh Peck, Adrianne Palicki, Josh Hutcherson, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and follows a group of patriotic young Americans who take up arms when their town is overrun by foreign invaders. The original is almost insufferably jingoistic, but it has its charms, mostly due to the cast which would grow up to be huge stars in their own right. Based on this footage, director Dan Bradley along with screenwriters Jeremy Passmore and Carl Ellsworth look to be following the exact same model.
Look at it this way, they can now sell the film solely on the backs of Hemsworth and Hutcherson, who are far more popular now than they were three years ago. Red Dawn finally makes its way into theaters on November 21st....
