'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' adds Jeremy Piven, Juno Temple, and Ray Liotta

Robert Rodriguez may have strung us along for years on a sequel to Sin City, but he's more than making it up to his fans with the cast he's putting together. Already filming and slated for release this October, just a month after his Machete Kills opens, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has just added three more big names to the growing A-list roster.

ThePlaylist has learned that Juno Temple, Ray Liotta, and Jeremy Piven have all joined the film in undefined roles. They'll be joining new faces Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert(replacing Michael Clarke Duncan), Josh Brolin(replacing Clive Owen), and Jamie Chung(replacing Devon Aoki). Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Jessica Alba, and Jamie King will be back in their familiar roles.

Temple is a star definitely on the rise, having just appeared in The Dark Knight Rises. She has two movies playing at Sundance in Magic
Magic
with Michael Cera, and Lovelace starring Amanda Seyfried. Liotta is also on a role, recently appearing in Killing Them Softly opposite Brad Pitt. Piven is the most curious addition of all to me. He's been starring in the U.K. series Mr. Selfridge ever since Entourage concluded.

Expect another big name to be revealed once Rodriguez locks down the sought after Ava Lord role. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens on October 4th.
