Well, that didn't take long, did it? Mere moments after it was revealed Julia Garner would be joining the cast of Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Dimension Films has announced that Eva Green will take on the sought-after role of the titular dame, Ava Lord.
The role has been in question for years, with Rodriguez constantly stating he wanted a really big name for it, even having courted Angelina Jolie for a time. The sultry and sexy Green will certainly fit the bill, though, playing the dangerous femme fatale and ex-lover to Dwight(Josh Brolin, once played by Clive Owen), coming back into his life with a dangerous agenda. She'll be joined by Manute (Dennis Haysbert, replacing Michael Clarke Duncan), who considers her a goddess and will do anything she asks. The story details how Dwight ended up with a completely different face.
Green will also turn up in the 300 sequel, Rise of an Empire, which doesn't look nearly as promising.
