To look at it, you'd never think that Sylvester Stallone's Bullet to the Head was based on a French graphic novel. I mean, it's just a bunch of big, grunting muscleheads beating people and shooting them in the head, right? Well, yeah. It kind of is, and the big draw of the film is a chance to see the aging ex-Rambo throwdown against Jason Momoa, who recently donned the loincloth of Conan the Barbarian.
A new clip from the film has been released, and while it's totally free from action, it does set up what is a pretty awesome final grudge match between New Orleans hitman Jimmy Bobo(Stallone) and mercenary Keegan(Momoa), the latter having kidnapped Bobo's daughter. The dialogue is atrocious, and Stallone's voice now sounds like a running lawnmower, but the film is a bit smarter than it appears. Seriously.
Also starring Sung Kang, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christian Slater, and Sarah Shahi, Bullet to the Head opens on February 1st. [DigitalSpy]
