Hyperbole is to be expected in the marketing game, but it takes some serious brass ones to proclaim your film the "most terrifying" anyone will ever experience. Sam Raimi, Fede Alvarez, the producers behind the upcoming Evil Dead remake seem pretty confident, which is why it's plastered all over a newly released poster accompanied by a handful of photos.
The poster is merely a twist on the one we saw earlier, but it more than gets the message across. If it's not the most terrifying, it may be the bloodiest thing we've ever seen if the trailers are to be believed. These stills are pretty tame, comparably, but that shot of the girl with the electric saw is disturbing to say the least. Evil Dead stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Elizabeth Blackmore, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Jessica Lucas, hitting theaters on April 5th.
