Tony Stark gets in a shootout in new 'Iron Man 3' clip and TV spot

Last night's MTV Movie Awards proved to be a big one for Marvel and The Avengers. Not only did we get a chance to see host Rebel Wilson in her own custom-fitted Iron Man armor, but the film took home three award; Movie of the Year, Best Fight Scene, and Best Villain for Tom Hiddleston. During the show, the fans who helped turn the film into a $1B-grossing box office champion were rewarded with a brand new clip from next month's Iron Man 3.

The footage shows Tony Stark fighting to survive Mandarin's attack on his mountainside home, and finding that using one of his prototype armors may not be the most effective way to do it. A new TV spot has also debuted, and overall neither spoils too much of the anticipated superhero film.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall, and Guy Pearce, Iron Man 3 hits theaters on May 3rd.
