Check Out a Pitch Trailer for 'Jurassic World'

After a few production delays, Universal finally announced that Jurassic Park 4 will be titled Jurassic World, and that we can expect it to hit theaters on June 12th 2015. But the film has been in the works for awhile, and now we're getting a look at what may have been the impetus for Steven Spielberg to commit to moving forward with the project.  The following pitch trailer for Colin Trevorrow's film was posted on YouTube, and then confirmed by producer Frank Marshall, who says that the footage presented in it is not part of the actual movie.

Here's what the Youtube poster had to say in regards to the footage....

"All I can say is this video was shown as part of Iain McCaig's presentation at the recent Star Wars convention in Germany (he's the fantastic concept artist and designer of Darth Maul). I can only presume it was part of a pitch for reigniting the JP movie franchise, if anyone can confirm please let me know. It was apparently shown to Kathleen Kennedy and Steven Spielberg. Mr McCaig actually said "it certainly got Steven interested in dinosaurs again..." I just think is so cool."

I would agree with that. The footage shows a number of dinosaurs attacking a beach and tossing around humans like beach balls. Most interesting of all is that final logo of the human side-by-side with a trio of dinos, suggesting I think that the story will indeed center on Jurassic World as an open theme park.  [STYD]
