Beginning life as a comic, a cartoon, and then as a short film, the futuristic action-comedy
Bounty Killer has undergone a lot of changes, but two things have remained a constant: director Henry Saine and star Christian Pitre. The film stars Pitre, in her first major role, as celebrity bounty hunter Mary Death, who makes tracking and punishing her prey look easy and so very sexy. I had a chance to talk to Saine about putting Pitre in such a prominent role; how the film developed over the years; and what it took to amass a cast that includes Gary Busey, Eve, Beverly D'Angelo, and Matthew Marsden.
