Christoph Waltz Boards 'Horribles Bosses 2'; Rachel McAdams Joins 'Passengers'; 'Warcraft' Adds Travis Fimmel

* Turns out Christoph Waltz had time in his schedule for Horrible Bosses 2, after all. A couple of weeks ago rumors surfaced that Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine were being eyed to play a father/son duo of bosses in the comedy sequel. Pine eventually did sign, but the prospects weren't so good for Waltz. But according to Deadline he's on board and ready to join the returning Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Jason Bateman, and Jamie Foxx. Sean Anders is directing for a November 28th 2014 release.

* One perky sweetheart that America loves drops out, and another steps in to take her place. Rachel McAdams has stepped in to replace Reese Witherspoon in the long-developing sci-fi film, Passengers, joining Keanu Reeves who has been attached since the very beginning. Written by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus) and directed by Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones), the film follows a passenger on a space ship making a centuries-long journey to another planet, only to have a malfunction wake him up 90 years too early. Faced with the prospect of living and dying alone, he finds love with a beautiful passenger he's awoken to keep him company. [Deadline]

* There are four central characters in Duncan Jones' Warcraft, and we've already heard that Colin Farrell, Paula Patton, and a few others are circling those roles. Now comes word that Travis Fimmel, star of the History Channel series Vikings, has taken one of the leads. Details on his character are unknown but considering the game's mix of supernatural and fantasy elements he could be anything from a knight to an orc. Filming is set to begin early next year.
