Noomi Rapace Takes Seven Roles in 'What Happened to Monday?'

It's hard enough for actors to play one character, let alone when dual roles are called for. But how tough would it be to take on seven roles all in the same film? Noomi Rapace is about to find out.

Deadline reports Rapace has agreed to star in What Happened to Monday?, a sci-fi flick set in an overpopulated world with a one-child policy. Rapace will take on a part originally written for a male by Black List scribe Max Botkin, playing seven sisters struggling to stay hidden. Morten Tyldum (Headhunters) had been set to direct at one point, but now it'll be Tommy Wirkola of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters fame. So judge your expectations accordingly. This could either be fantastic or a total mess.

No word on when this will shoot but it will likely have to wait until Rapace gets a little downtime. She'll be seen next starring opposite Tom Hardy in both Animal Rescue and Child 44.
