Gina Carano Goes Haywire in First 'In the Blood' Trailer

When Steven Soderbergh sees enough to entrust you with the lead in one of his films, it's a pretty big deal. Some have done more with that opportunity than others (come on, Sasha Grey! Really!?), one who has taken the ball and run with it is Gina Carano. After making for an impressive debut beating up A-list stars in Haywire, she went on to beat up a few more in Fast & Furious 6. And now she does it yet again in the first trailer for In the Blood.

Directed by John Stockwell (Blue Crush, Into the Blue), this is a straight-up brawler flick that has Carano busting heads on an island paradise, seemingly the only locale Stockwell prefers. Carano plays the wife to Cam Gigandet, and she's forced to rescue him when he's kidnapped during their honeymoon. Somewhere along the way she uncovers a grand conspiracy, and perhaps she'll find her husband's manhood, too.

In the Blood "hits" theaters on April 4th.
