Oscar Isaac's 'Star Wars 7' Role May Be Expanded; Mandalorians to Play Major Role?

With Harrison Ford laid up possibly for six months, Disney doesn't seem to be scrambling to cover up for his absence. While rumors began to surface that production could be delayed, possibly pushing the film to 2016, a source recently told the NY Post....

"Shutting down the movie is impossible. The basic story line will not change that much.”

The latter half of that statement alludes to another part of the rumor that says Oscar Isaac's role will be beefed up as a result of Ford's injuries. Of course, Disney had something to say about this, too, and it certainly wasn't a confirmation....

"This is categorically not true.”

Right. So that doesn't seem to be happening, but one never knows. It's somewhat illogical to think production won't be altered in some way, but right now it's unclear how. Meanwhile, Latino Review says we can expect to see the Mandalorians play a big role in the film. Who were the Mandalorians? Well, Boba Fett was one, and the mystery surrounding them was practically ruined by the prequel films. With rumors of a Boba Fett spinoff going around we may be seeing a lot more of them, anyway.
