Years in the making and met with seemingly endless obstacles, including Mother Nature, George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road is a film fans have been waiting for a long time. And through all of the various troubles, Miller has stuck pretty close to his vision of not simply doing what was done in the Mel Gibson movies. And with Tom Hardy set to take on the iconic role of "Mad" Max Rockatansky, the film promises to have just as much action as before.
Entertainment Weekly has Hardy and Charlize Theron on the cover of their latest issues, which comes with a number of new photos giving us the best look yet at the film. And it looks gritty and completely bombed-out, especially Theron who looks like she just survived a nuclear disaster. The plot for this one is pretty straight forward with Max racing across a desert waste land in a War Rig. Miller originally planned this to be the start of a new trilogy and that will probably still be the case assuming the film is a success.
Mad Max: Fury Road opens May 15th 2015.
