Marvel's 'Ant-Man' Gains Two More Writers
Hey, remember when Marvel's Ant-Man was an Edgar Wright joint? Well, those days are long gone due to creative squabbles that led to Peyton Reed (Bring It On) taking over as director. But even with him coming aboard and Adam McKay set to do rewrites, it was expected that there will still be a little bit of what Wright had originally intended. Well....maybe, maybe not.
Latino Review reports that Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer have been brought on to do further rewrites on the script. They'll be serving as production writers meaning they'll be on hand during filming in Atlanta to make any necessary revisions. This isn't all that uncommon for any Hollywood feature really but with the film undergoing so many changes it is worth keeping an eye on. The duo ended up on a lot of radars when their Die In A Gunfight script ended up on the Black List. They've also somehow managed to impress with a script for the Sabrina the Teenage Witch remake that has been developing for awhile.
Ant-Man opens July 17th 2015.
