Norwegian director Erik Poppe began his career as a photographer covering the grim reality of war, and those experiences are what has driven his new film, the semi-autobiographical 1,000 Times Good Night. Juliette Binoche plays a war photographer with an obsession for venturing into the world's most dangerous war zones, but she has a family back home that aren't too fond of the situations she places herself in. Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau plays her husband who issues an ultimatum to choose work or family, and the new trailer for the film shows them dealing with the consequences of her decision.
After playing at various festivals and getting a mixed response, 1,000 Times Good Night has finally been given a U.S. release date on October 24th, opening in theaters and VOD. Check out the trailer below.
