New Photos from Marvel's 'Ant-Man' as Paul Rudd Lines Up a New Film

Fans of Paul Rudd must have been one cloud nine all week as we saw plenty of him in the trailer for Marvel's Ant-Man. With six months until the film arrives and Rudd is lost forever to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's probably in his best interests to fit in some other films first. Rudd has now joined an adaptation of Jonathan Evison's book The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving. Oh, and there are some new Ant-Man photos to check out, too.

The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving will get started filming right away this month with Rob Burnett writing the directing. Burnett served as exec-producer on The Late Show with David Letterman, winning an Emmy for his work there. Rudd will headline as Ben Benjamin, a lonely man who has lost everything who takes a night class called the Fundamentals of Caregiving. His life is changed when he begins taking care of stubborn 19-year-old Trevor who suffers from muscular dystrophy.

So a little something heavy before Rudd takes on the lightweight world of superheroes. Speaking of which, EW has dropped some Ant-Man images that give us another look at Rudd as the shrinking Avenger; along with Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17th.
