Liam McIntyre is Weather Wizard on 'The Flash'; Edward James Olmos Joins 'Agents of SHIELD'

In what is becoming a pattern for CW's The Flash/Arrow universe, a Spartacus alum is joining the cast in a supporting role. Liam McIntyre, who played Spartacus himself on the (amazing) Starz Network series and stole the show in last year's The Legend of Hercules, has joined The Flash as villain Mark Mardon aka Weather Wizard. You may recall that Mark's brother Clyde appeared as bad guy in the pilot episode, and it looks like some revenge is in order. He'll appear in episodes #115-#116 and here's the official character description: "Mark Mardon, brother to Clyde Mardon, returns to Central City to get justice for his brother's untimely death. Mark uses his powers, similar to Clyde's ability to control the weather, to go on a rampage to find the man that shot Clyde...Joe West." McIntyre joins past Spartacus castmembers Manu Bennett, Katrina Law, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and Nick Tarabay.

And Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is getting some veteran love with Battlestar Galactica's Edward James Olmos coming aboard in the role of Robert Gonzalez. Don't bother hitting the Marvel Wiki to look him up; Gonzalez isn't a character who is part of the Marvel continuity but he's said to have "massive repercussions" for Agent Coulson. Doesn't he have enough problems? His character will debut in March.
