Deeply Moving Trailer for Documentary 'Cobain: Montage of Heck'

There have been no shortage of Kurt Cobain documentaries since the Nirvana frontman died, and that's understandable. His was a voice that touched many lives and he's someone whose impact will be everlasting. That said, it was beginning to look as if everything had been said about Cobain's brilliant and troubled life, but apparently not if the reviews out of Sundance for Cobain: Montage of Heck are any indication.

Directed by Brett Morgan, the film takes a deeply personal look, dubbed by some as the most "intimate" rock documentary ever, at Cobain through home movies and interviews with Cobain's family. His daughter Frances was an exec-producer on the film and the scenes in this new trailer of her and her father are truly touching.

HBO will air Cobain: Montage of Heck on May 4th.
