The first villains DC's Suicide Squad faced in their comic was a Middle Eastern group of super-terrorists known as Onslaught. They hailed from the fictional nation of Qurac and have been a consistent thorn in the team's side, even counting some members of the Suicide Squad among their ranks. With David Ayer's Suicide Squad film gearing up, it appears Onslaught may be headed to the big screen, too.

Latino Review did the digging on this one (judge accordingly), and the say Onslaught will be the major villains in the movie. Assuming this is true, the roster may be based on the latest version which included Antiphon, described in the story as a burn victim with a prosthetic leg. He'll apparently be the team leader, and Ed Harris is being rumored for the role although he's also has been rumored for the role of Rick Flag Sr. The team's line-up also included Rustam (leader in the comics), group powerhouse Hyve, Digital Djinn, and Tolteca. The site says Onslaught will be hunting both superheroes and villains for their own agenda.
Suicide Squad opens August 5th 2016 and stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Jared Leto, Cara Delvingne, Joel Kinnaman, and Viola Davis.
