Anna Kendrick (who you should check out in The Voices, now on Blu-Ray) is joining Zac Efron and her Pitch Perfect co-star Adam DeVine in the comedy, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. Jake Szymanski directs the film about two brothers who place an online ad to find wedding dates and the ad goes viral. Kendrick has Pitch Perfect 2 coming up later this year, and is currently filming The Accountant opposite Ben Affleck. [Variety]
Rooney Mara, David Wenham and Divian Ladwa are the latest to join Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel in Lion, a drama based on the memoir by Saroo Bradley. Saroo was only five years old living in Northern India when he got on the wrong train and ended up thousands of miles from home in Kalkata. After surviving the streets he is adopted by an Australian family, only to try and find his original home years later with help from his memories and Google Earth. [THR]
And Kristen Wiig has a role in Zoolander 2, and her character Alexanya Atoz is probably playing a villain or some companion to Will Ferrell's Mugatu. How do we know? Because of the ridiculous triangle hairstyle and pounds of make-up she's sporting in the below set photo.
