Final 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Trailer Plus a Rumor Update

"If you step out that door, you're an Avenger". To whom is Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye referring to in the latest trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron? Could it be Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen), the twin siblings who start off fighting alongside the villainous Ultron? Is it the android Vision, played by Paul Bettany? Or is it some other hero we haven't seen yet? The answers will be revealed in less than a month, True Believers, so strap in.

The latest trailer is basically a 90-second splash page of action, with practically every character getting their moment to look amazingly cool. And yep, that awesome "hero scene" is in there a bit earlier than in other promos. Because of their very nature the Avengers films are never really about the bad guys. It's about the tenuous relationship between the heroes, and this footage teases a number of upcoming confrontations.

Oh, and remember that story from a few days ago about Julie Delpy and Linda Cardellini being part of the cast? Well, the guest list for the big red carpet premiere has been updated, and now only Delpy is listed as "in the film" while Cardellini is a "special guest" attending the event. So...does this mean Slashfilm and Latino Review were wrong in their reporting? And what about the latter's assertion they knew both actresses' roles? To quote one of my favorite rappers, K-Solo: "Lies, rumors, rumors, and lies, I can't hold it back"!

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens May 1st.
