This is totally gonna read like an April Fool's Day prank, but I swear it's real. Avengers: Age of Ultron will also feature appearances by Julie Delpy (Before Sunrise) and Linda Cardellini (Freaks & Geeks) in roles that have yet to be revealed. Let the Captain Marvel speculation resume.
Slashfilm were the first to drop this bit of info, noticing that both ladies were listed on the cast list for the red carpet premiere. Disney has since confirmed it without dropping anymore details. Latino Review's El Mayimbe claims to know who they are playing but is refusing to say more. I'm going to call bullshit on that one given his penchant for posting every rumor under the sun.
My gut tells me that neither Delpy or Cardellini are Captain Marvel, for any number of reasons. Delpy's too old, and Cardellini simply doesn't fit the role. Chances are they have small cameos, possibly as characters Marvel fans will recognize by name. We shall see.
