The Maze Runner: The Death Cure will hit theaters on February 17th 2017, and the incredible thing is that the final movie isn't being divided into two chapters. Wes Ball, who is returning to direct The Scorch Trials and likely will finish up the series, said some months back there were no plans to split them up and hopefully they stick to that plan.
Fox will undoubtedly look for new ways to extend the franchise if it continues to perform so well, and they may decide to adapt author James Dashner's prequel novel, The Kill Order. Another prequel is slated to hit store shelves next year.
