'Captain America: Civil War' Adds Martin Freeman in a Mystery Role

Beginning to see a trend with all the Marvel news lately? Yep, they're all focused on Captain America: Civil War, which doesn't even come out until next year. But with filming right around the corner the pieces are all coming together for it to be huge, basically "Avengers 2.5", and now there's been one more major addition to the cast.

Bilbo Baggins, er Martin Freeman, has joined the cast of the Captain America sequel in a role that has yet to be revealed. The Hobbit and Sherlock star joins Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Sebastian Stan, Elizabeth Olsen, plus Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Daniel Bruhl as the villain Baron Zemo, and whoever gets cast as Spider-Man. Iron Man and Captain America will see their ideological differences drive a wedge into the team like they've never seen. The story will also somehow tie directly into 2018's Avengers: Infinity War.

So, guesses? The last film had Robert Redford as a high-ranking SHIELD/HYDRA officer and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Freeman in a similar kind of role. Otherwise who could he be?
