Jennifer Garner gets 'Miracles from Heaven'; JK Simmons and Emile Hirsch Join 'The Runaround'


Mrs. Batman herself Jennifer Garner (or is she Mrs. Daredevil?) will star in the faith-based drama, Miracles from Heaven. Based on the novel by Christy Beam and directed by Patricia Riggen (The 33, Under the Same Moon), the film centers on a young girl with a rare digestive disorder who is miraculously cured after after surviving a terrible accident. Oscar-winner JK Simmons is set to team up with Emile Hirsch for The Runaround, a comedy written by Seth W. Owen (Morgan) and directed by Gavin Wiesen (The Art of Getting By). Simmons plays a father who attempts to visit his daughter during a surprise layover in Los Angeles, only to discover that she is missing. He recruits his daughter's nervous, awkward, and heartbroken ex-boyfriend to help find her over the course of one crazy night.
