Now that Avengers: Age of Ultron is the top-grossing film of 2015 and is closing in on $1.2B, Marvel can now turn their marketing muscle to Ant-Man, which sorely needs it. The film stars Paul Rudd as petty thief Scott Lang, who is recruited by scientist Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) to steal the Ant-Man suit and in the process, save the world.
A few new photos have been released (via Empire) that show the tiny hero conversing with an ant...presumably on ant hill politics. Another image shows Evangeline Lilly looking rather astonished at the Yellowjacket suit created by Darren Cross (Corey Stoll), while we get another that includes Douglas as Hank Pym.
Since Ant-Man is expected to appear in next year's Captain America: Civil War, the chances of some kind of Avengers cameo are pretty high. Just don't expect director Peyton Reed to admit it, telling Empire, "That's classified information. That's buried. It's possible."
