Doom Arrives in the New 'Fantastic Four' International Trailer

Hopefully, you're not one of those angry fanboys still upset over the Fantastic Four casting of Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm. If so, he's got a few words for you to chew on...

“To the trolls on the Internet, I want to say: Get your head out of the computer. Go outside and walk around. Look at the people walking next to you. Look at your friends’ friends and who they’re interacting with. And just understand this is the world we live in. It’s okay to like it.”

Basically, he drinks up your fanboy tears of rage, so get over it. Of bigger concern should be the film itself, which Josh Trank and 20th Century Fox famously kept hidden away for months while rumors of a troubled production persisted. Those rumors recently bled over into Trank's departure from his Star Wars spinoff, so there may be some validity to them. Still, what we've seen of Fantastic Four has been solid and definitely in keeping with the comic's deep sci-fi roots, even if it may be darker in tone than Marvel's Avengers films.

The latest trailer features some new footage and keeps the film's exploratory spirit and sense of adventure. Miles Teller is nerd genius Reed "Mr. Fantastic" Richard, Kate Mara as Sue "The Invisible Woman" Storm, and Jamie Bell as Ben " The Thing" Grimm. We also get a bit more of Toby Kebbell as Doom, and Reg E. Cathey as Dr. Franklin Storm.

Fantastic Four opens August 7th.
